Five months after the launch of Autolib ', the system self-service vehicles do not meet again a great success, far from it. Although the number of subscribers grew, but it remains inadequate. It rises this month to 15,000 people, 00 of which only 5 signed an annual subscription, others have chosen packages in the week or day. The cars were used 118,000 times since December.

The businessman Vincent Bollore, whose group provides vehicles and charging stations, expects 30,000 annual subscribers at the end of the year. But to be profitable, Autolib 'must have 80,000 users on the car twice a week for a period of just under an hour. The group has indeed invested 100 million euros starting in the device, plus 100 million annual operating costs (including 900 people have been recruited to the call center and stations).

Financial side, the businessman Breton is optimistic. At the launch of this system of electric cars, self-service in the Paris region, beginning in December 2011, he estimated it would take seven years to break even. "It is possible that this is earlier," he said Wednesday. The infrastructure can be rapidly deployed in 46 communities of Ile-de-France, including Paris, while the number of stations has doubled since the start, reaching 500 stations in May. It must still be multiplied by two (1050), by October. The number of electric cars is made available to him from 250 to 1740 and is expected to climb to 3,000 by the end of the year.

In late April, the Bluecar Bolloré also ranks the leading electric car registrations in France (982 copies), before Nissan and Mia, a market it is true stammering (1595 cars). Bolloré would however expect a year of operation to take a real first assessment, but also business technology fast payday loan no faxing. Electric batteries, particularly temperature sensitive, "have passed the severe cold, but not yet the hot summer," he says.

For now, this service attracted a rather young audience: half of subscribers between 18 and 35. Unsurprisingly, 70% of users have no car. More difficult to explain: 75% are men.

Little vandalism

Degradation related vehicles, hiccups were encountered the first time, "but we managed to eliminate the defects of youth," he assured Vincent Bolloré. The bumpers have been replaced by such material more resistant. The precedents décrochaient easily as motorists unaccustomed to automatic transmissions, may tend to confuse the brake and accelerator. Mirrors, knobs of power windows and door loading were also changed. Moreover, the cars have yet to paint, which avoids the risk of scratches and lighten the car by 5 kilos (an economy that enhances autonomy). In total, Autolib 'account from 20 to 25 claims per day.

So far, however, "very little" acts of vandalism have been deplored, welcomes Vincent Bolloré, contrary to what was observed for self-service bikes Velib '. The most spectacular incident, three cars were burned in Créteil in the Val de Marne.

To attract new subscribers, Autolib launches a monthly fee of 30 euros plus 6 euros per half hour of use. The annual fee amounts to 144 euros plus 5 euros thirty minutes of driving.

These are the first quarterly figures for Mariano Rajoy, and they mark new records. 24.44% of the Spanish working population is unemployed, according to the survey of the National Statistics Institute (INE), the most comprehensive report on the subject. To find such a high percentage, we must go back to 1994. As for the number of unemployed, 5,639,500, it is unprecedented.

The detailed figures are even more dramatic. Youth unemployment has surpassed the psychological half: 52.01% of those under age 25 seeking employment. More than 1, 7 million households survive without one family member has a job. A disturbing figure, in a country where family solidarity is one of the few buoys that are still resisting the crisis.

Degradation of S & P

The increase in the unemployment rate from 22.85 to 24.44% coincides with the entry into force on 12 February, the reform of labor law prepared by the Conservative government. A set of measures that flexibilisent working conditions facilitating dismissals on behalf of … the fight against unemployment.

The deteriorating labor market could lead to further abuses. "Having one in four unemployed will increase our deficit and debt," warns Alberto Pastor, professor of economics at IESE Business School. And conversely, "the achievement of deficit targets necessarily require additional austerity measures likely to deepen the recession and therefore further deteriorate the labor market," says Jesús Castillo, Natixis. A downward spiral.

Standard & Poor's, meanwhile, did not wait for the unemployment figures to punish Spain. By Thursday evening, the agency lowered its rating two notches, from A to BBB +. A decision justified by three reasons: the economic downturn, the difficulties in reducing deficits and fears about the fragility of Spanish banks.

For despite a process of concentration and recapitalization, financial sector remains a concern. Most Spanish economists exclude the possibility of a global rescue plan. They did not rule on the other hand a refinance outside banks. "Some will be forced to appeal to European funds," and believes Santiago Nino Becerra know, professor of economics at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Economy, Luis de Guindos, admitted that Spain was "perhaps one of the hardest moments for its economy." The government does provide an out of recession next year, a return to growth in 2014 and the balance of public accounts in 2016.

The Italian Treasury has borrowed this Friday 5.95 billion euros in the medium and long term testing at an auction. The operation went well. Borrowing costs are still rising at 5.84% to 4.86% and ten years to five years, but the offer has been fully covered. "The numbers are correct. At least, there is no bad news, "said Michael Leister, rate strategist for DZ Bank. Borrowing costs in Italy have averaged 5.61% since the beginning of the year.

Secondary market, the yield spread between ten-year Italian paper and paper German reference widened by only one point e basis, to 4.08%.

Medel, its official name Lucmagn, is a quiet village of 435 souls nestled at 1332 meters altitude, in the heart of the Alps, in the region of the Lukmanierpass (Grisons). Its inhabitants were just as quiet on their heights until a Swiss mining company, a subsidiary of Canadian Gold NV, may disturb their idyll. Under their feet, in fact hides a gold mine. That company then proposed to exploit this in exchange for 40 million Swiss francs, or about 33 million euros. Against all odds, the villagers declined the offer to two-thirds of the population, after a referendum held in early April.

According to Business Insider, the mine in question, located in a vast pine forest in the snowy peaks and valley Medel, to contain about 1.2 billion dollars of precious metals. The U.S. site information reports that the history of the mine clearly divided the inhabitants of the valley. Some would see a tremendous opportunity in the economic deficient, while others – mostly – highlight their concerns about the environmental impact such a project would succeed.

For its part, NV Gold in talks with the mayor of the small town, more than ever determined to steal the treasure buried by the villagers jealously refractory.

Nestle will soon be able to give free rein to its ambitions on the Chinese baby milk market. After several months of a tight battle with its main competitor, Danone, the Swiss have been selected by Pfizer to buy its infant nutrition business, the Wall Street Journal. The agreement could be signed before the end of the month.

The amount of the transaction be around ten billion. "This operation has a real strategic sense for Nestle, said Andrew Wood, analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, because it deals with good grades and good markets and is performed at a reasonable price. "Nestle has maintained through his status as favorite, because of its financial muscle and posture. He chose to go it alone, while Danone had allied his forces earlier this year with the U.S. Mead Johnson. The French had indicated during February to be interested only in "certain assets, certain brands in some countries," adding that he was not on the verge of acquiring a structuring of the type of Numico in 2008. It might have sinned, according to some experts, by his lack of enthusiasm on this issue. The alliance with Mead Johnson made it more complex to build a competitive offer.

Assets to be sold

Danone, however, could catch up. For competitive reasons, Nestlé will indeed be compelled to give up certain activities, including Mexico, Southeast Asia or South Africa. Danone will then compete with Heinz. The king of ketchup, which carries 11% of its sales with child nutrition, waived bid for the branch of Pfizer, but he is interested in potential sales, particularly in Latin America. Nestlé is about to offer a real nugget, who made last year $ 2.1 billion in sales (+15%). Activity following the acquisition by Pfizer in 2009, the Wyeth for $ 68 billion. Pfizer had announced its intention last summer to focus on the heart of its business. Officially, the pharmaceutical group was still hesitating between an assignment and a split.

Returning to the child nutrition branch of Pfizer, world number five in the sector, with over half of its business in emerging countries, Nestlé could catch up in China. With the SMA brand, Pfizer is already comfortably installed, with 6.7% market share.

Arrived late in the Middle Kingdom, the group of Vevey occupies only the eighth (3.7% market share), behind Abbott. But this market dominated by Mead Johnson, which are born each year 16 million babies, weighs 7 billion. It is set to double by 2015, according to Euromonitor. Number 3 in China, Danone sells more boxes of Dumex baby milk in France. In a rapidly growing market, the cards of infant nutrition are about to be reshuffled in the coming months.

Bad news for laboratories and pharmacies. "In 2012, for the first time, the French market for reimbursable drugs sold in pharmacies will be in recession. After four years of stagnation, it will show a 2% drop in value, "Robert said Thursday Chu, president of research firm IMS Health France. A setback due in part to price cuts and delisting imposed by governments, but also to "a failure of innovation."

Other mature markets will not show very strong growth. By 2015, the pharmaceutical market will grow by +2% to +5% in Japan. It will gain +1% to +4% per year in the United States and other developed countries, IMS provides. "The other European markets are affected but the timing is different," explains Claude Le Pen, an economics professor at Paris-Dauphine and France consultant IMS Health no teletrek payday advance. In Germany, for example, the policy of price reduction was initiated before that of the Hexagon.

Profitability deteriorated

The expiry of patents that protect the original drugs is another factor, important for the retraction of the pharmaceutical market. The peak of these patent losses will be achieved in 2012 with $ 48 billion of revenue at risk of generic competition. In practice this means that four fifths of those sales (about $ 40 billion) will not occur. Generics, legal copies sold of 15% to 70% cheaper by country (55% in France), take place.

Seen from France, in its presidential campaign when it comes to rescue of ailing industrial sites, the remarks by Sergio Marchionne, the boss of Fiat-Chrysler, on the European car should react. For him, there is no alternative but to radically reshape the European car factories.

"The industry faces overcapacity of about 20%, especially on small cars, pulling prices down: this is why almost nobody makes money in Europe. This inability to sell all the products we sell, that's exactly the problem faced by the United States in 2007-2008. But there, American manufacturers have closed 20% of their capacity and, now, they win money, "says Le Figaro who is this year president of the Association of European manufacturers (ACEA).

The same evils, the same remedies. The boss of Fiat-Chrysler considers it necessary to remove the 20% in Europe of excess production capacity, more than 3 million cars, which could, according to experts, lead by a dozen plant closings. "We have no choice, launching this adjustment process and then start again from scratch on a sound basis. It will be painful for twelve months, but let's do it! "

The picture that Sergio Marchionne to the situation of the European car is "horrible". He expects this year the market fell for the fifth consecutive year, "5%". And sees no recovery before 2014, and again, at a speed not "crazy." "Meanwhile, we must build on this interval to restructure and get the full benefits of the restructuring when the market recovers."

"It would be the best thing that could happen" because the area in 2008 missed a "huge opportunity" to "streamline" its operations.

According to him, "it is for Europe to support this transition, because, individually, the governments of various countries will not do." Sergio Marchionne noted that in France the state has helped manufacturers provided they do not close plants, while the "U.S. has rather pushed to restructure two groups during their bankruptcy." We must now a "coordinated effort" at European level so that "the pain is shared" so "rational".

With redundancies

"If Europe stops this restructuring, the manufacturers will not invest enough to modernize their production and move upmarket," he says.

Europe could also establish a "financial support mechanism" to cope with redundancies. Anyway, it will take a "social welfare system provides the transition," so as to give the "care and attention" to the employees concerned. Leaves, he hopes, that the industry gets back to hire when it will be healthier.

According to the Federation approved management centers (FCGA), who analyzed 77 occupations in 11 industries, their average turnover increased by 0.9% this year to reach 249,500 euros and operating profit of 2.1%, to 34,280 euros. But all does not show the same performance. The craftsmen in the building went through a dark period, while five sectors did better than others.

Topping the growth of sales, services are needed in the lead with a 3.3% increase (120,700 euros) through real estate agencies whose activities (167,000 euros) recorded the largest increase ( 11%) of 77 occupations analyzed.

Transportation come next, with 3.2% for an average turnover of 116,000 euros. Freight carriers get the best improvements, with an increase of 3.5% of sales (174,000 euros). But only 34% of them give off an income above 26,000 euros cash advance. The paramedics are doing well, with a turnover (395,000 euros) up 3.4%. Two-thirds of them emit a higher operating profit at 39000 euros.

In coffee shops, hotels (2.9%), the pancake houses boast the highest growth with 6% for sales (162,300 euros) and earnings (35,855 euros) in improvement of 9.1% . The breweries were up 4.3%, 3.1% of the pizzerias and hotels by 3.2%.

In automotive (+2.9%), body builders have a turnover (257,600 euros), up 5.2%. But independent stations showed a fall of 5.1% of their earnings. In health care, pharmacists have reached the highest earnings of 77 occupations, with 125,260 euros for an average turnover of 1,423,500 euros. Opticians have improved by 5.8% their earnings, which reached almost 70,000 euros for a turnover of 334,400 euros. Dental technicians have improved their earnings (47,340 euros) only 1.1%.

The absolute independence of the European Central Bank vis-à-vis the policy preventing him from speaking. Mario Draghi has openly acknowledged Thursday: "I received a few minutes ago a call from the Greek prime minister said an agreement had been reached and endorsed by the major parties," said President of the ECB at its monthly press conference in Frankfurt. Thus he was able to announce before everyone else – maybe a little too quickly, given the float that followed in Athens – the good news entrusted to him by Lucas Papademos, the former vice President of the ECB.

But, according to the principle that it is easier to comment on the affairs of others than on his own, he refused to say clearly that the ECB may decide to reduce the debt of Athens, parallel commercial banks: "We are not part of negotiations. But what we hear is that the parts are pretty close to agreement. "

"Prohibited by the European treaties"

Pressed with questions, the successor to Jean-Claude Trichet ended up giving the key to participation of the ECB program "voluntary" Burden Reduction. "If the ECB redistributes some of its profits to the Member States of the ECB … it's not on monetary financing (public debt, which is prohibited by the European treaties), "he dropped. Clearly, it confirms one of the options that have been circulating for a week: the ECB could leave the unrealized gains on its purchase of Greek bonds. Which is approximately 12 billion, knowing that the bonds were acquired on the market at a discount and would be repaid at their face value at maturity.

By hiding again behind the texts prohibiting the bailout States, Mario Draghi shows the difficulty of his task. "The time is long when monetary policy was limited to setting interest rates. Since the debt crisis, the ECB must navigate waters very political, "says economist of a major French bank.

Inflation above the 2%

Monetary field itself, new relaxations are in any case by no means excluded. "Inflation should remain above 2% during the next few months, before falling back below 2%," said Mario Draghi. He worries more than ever a dry supply of bank credit: "We are actually concerned about the slowdown in the credit."

This is why the Governing Council decided to relax the rules on eligibility of collateral (securities pledged as collateral) that commercial banks have to raise cash. These conditions are changed to "temporarily" for seven national central banks, including Bank of France. "Residential real estate loans to individuals are eligible," said a statement released yesterday afternoon in Paris, which lists the technical conditions.

On a neighbor, Mario Draghi provides that the next issue of liquidity to three years, to be held on February 29, could be done "over the range of the previous operation of this type." The banks had obtained, 22 December 2011, 489 billion and 1% over three years.

It's a funny for that women's football. Originally included in the most prestigious prizes for men and hopes, the TV rights specialists on women's football is becoming the subject of a separate market. Direct 8, the DTT channel created by the Bolloré Group and is currently being acquired by Canal +, made the nice observation. "In 2007, Yannick Bolloré has decided to change our schedule to that of a general channel, explains Thierry Cheleman, Director of Sports Direct 8. Implying sports programs. " Although too small to address the sporting rights of the men's national team, then put Direct 8 on the lower category. "At the time, the French Football Federation (FFF) launched a tender for the national championship and hopes, the director continues. This lot also included the TV rights of the Women's Team France until 2014, for which we are therefore committed to broadcast three games a year. "

Public expectations for the beautiful game

Bingo. More than blueberries (or hopes), the girls create the surprise sport in 2009 and 2010 during the qualifying matches in the Women's World Cup 2011. Helping performance, each game attracts between 300,000 and 400,000 viewers on TNT channel, reaching over 700,000 fans August 25, 2009, for the first prime-time (France / Serbia).

Rebelote in 2011. Building on this success for the Hearing, Direct 8 means in effect in 2010 with Eurosport, a subsidiary of TF1, the rights of the Women's World Cup 2011, acquired at the same time as the Men's World Cup 2010. Coproducts and codiffusés by both channels, games are a success hearings.Especially since the disappointment surrounding the men's team at the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 frustrated football fans. "After the episode of Knysna, there was a latent expectation of the French for the beautiful game and a fighting team, Fabrice Lorvo analysis, a sports marketing specialist at FTPA. The public was ready to ignite their national team. The spark, it is the girls who brought them. "

To date, the semi-final France / USA Women's World Cup represents the historical record of the chain … and all channels TNT (2.43 million viewers, 17.4% audience share). Normally, the average audience of Direct 8 between 2 and 2.5% market share. Since then, the magic continues.Since the start of the qualifying matches for Euro 2013 Blue to seduce between 720,000 and 940,000 fans.

The appetite of the major broadcasters would raise prices

Given this popularity, the chain does not stop there, and is now attacking the European and national. "If a French club in 2012 reached the final of the Champions League Women, we might be candidates to UEFA to broadcast the match," said Thierry Cheleman. Last year, the epic European Lyonnaises, who had won the competition against Potsdam, had already resulted in an audience of 1.2 million viewers (4.9% market share), peaking 1.9 million. Meanwhile, the management of Direct 8 has made an offer to FFF for TV rights of the first women's division (D1) over the period 2012-2014.Insufficient supply, Eurosport and France Television has won the set in August.

It is the flip side: the structuring of the market for women's football TV rights could eventually crowd out smaller players. "For the TV rights are the subject of a market requires that the images are produced and disseminated. Two years ago, it was not the case for women's football. Direct 8 that produces the games itself, has allowed the emergence of women's football on television in the clear, "Fabrice Lorvo analysis. On average, the chain said spend between 40,000 and 50,000 euros per game. The emergence of such a market whets the appetites and proposals for new broadcasters.

For the giants of the sport are Eurosport and Canal + could well participate in the cost inflation of rights, if performance women are superior to those of men.Inflation that is already seeing Thierry Cheleman, even if they are about 100 times lower than those of men. From this point of view, the acquisition by the pay channel Direct 8 could be an asset, "even if it is too early to draw clear ambitions to Canal + for Direct 8 on women's football," he concludes .
